Our custom massage utilizes a combination of myofascial work, Swedish massage, and deep tissue techniques that promote lymphatic drainage, provide relief from muscle tension, and can lower overall stress. Your therapist will conduct a consultation before your massage to determine what methods and techniques will best suit your goals.
Prenatal Massage (Mommassage)
Helps alleviate the many aches and pains that come with pregnancy
Prenatal massage therapy care is a wonderful way to keep an expecting mother comfortable throughout their pregnancy. Research has shown receiving regular prenatal massage resulted in expectant mothers enjoying better sleep quality and mental health, diminished aches and joint pain, improved labor outcomes & newborn health. Our unique Earthlite prenatal pillow allows for face down massage at any stage of pregnancy creating significant back & belly tension relief. Every prenatal massage is enhanced with luxurious hot towel treatments and satin eyepillows. This is a true treat for expecting mommas!
Prenatal Massage Recommended Schedule
- 1 massage monthly until 27 weeks
- 2 massages monthly until 36 weeks
- 1 massage weekly until delivery


Yoga
Relax and Restore
Restorative Touch is a 75 minute yoga class led by Blue Heron Bodyworks owner, Amanda McDaniel, LMT, RYT300 and Anna Tomlinson, LMT.
During class, participants will be guided through a calming meditation and a series of nourishing restorative yoga poses that will be enhanced with a variety of massage techniques and modalities, hot towel treatments, and aromatherapy.
All props are provided to ensure your maximum comfort and relaxation. Participants are encouraged to come to class hydrated & wear comfortable clothing.
This class is also PRENATAL friendly!
